More Music from Rick Myers
While our family was on vacation this summer in Corolla, NC (more on that later, perhaps), I was fortunate to be able to pull Rick, Darcy's dad, aside and record another couple of songs. I had already recorded Crossing Streets the last time he was in Minnesota to visit. But I wanted more! So we got three recordings started while we were out there. Fishing on the St. John and Orlando are ready, and I'm still fighting with the drum part on the third - soon to come. Post your comments, so Rick can hear what great songs these are!

Debbie emailed me this comment:
Bruce, thank you for sending the link. I'm still crying my eyes out! I also loved your rendition of Baby, Baby.
You guys are beautiful! Love, Debby
Then she sent this:
I mean, Oh Baby. What a ditz. I can't get that song out of my head. (Thank God there's something in there that's stuck)
Thanks so much for those beautiful songs. Rick, you haven't lost your touch or your fan club.

Rick- Thanks so much for those songs, and Bruce, thanks for recording them and bringing them to us! Rick, your creativity continues to amaze! I really enjoyed "Let the Girls Dance" Who was singing backup besides Darcy? Having spent time in Orlando with your family, "Orlando" and Fishing on the St. John's have special meaning. I remeber bringing Ken there for the first time, and his surprise to find that "real" fishermen make a night of it!
The other singer is Darcy, too. That's the beauty of multitrack recording using Garageband!
Sorry for the misnamed song. I meant "Let Yourself Dance," not "Let The Girls Dance", but I will and they should....
